Chris’s Real Estate Journey…
Always having an interest in real estate growing up, Chris was lucky to get started as a real estate investor at a young age buying his first rental property at 19 while attending the University of Waterloo where he completed his honours co-op business degree. Knowing buying a house and renting out rooms to friends would be a more cost effective way to complete his degree, Chris not only chose to attend Waterloo because of the school but also its up and coming real estate market which was still affordable at the time. Fast forward 15 years, and Chris has since flipped that first property into a 4 plex in Peterborough, along with 4 other multi-units in Peterborough, a duplex in Lindsay, cottages on both Paudash and Salerno Lakes, and his forever home with his family in Millbrook.
And then it was time to become a licensed real estate professional..
About 6 properties into life as real estate investor it became apparent that Chris’s passion for real estate was more then a side hustle. Sharing the passion and knowledge and helping clients with their real estate journey soon became much more important then his own, and Chris entered the fast paced and exciting world of a full time Realtor!

When Chris is not busy with real estate he loves spending time with his family and stays busy helping his amazing wife Katherine an RN, chase their energetic and hilarious kids, Rosie and Charlotte around!
With a 3 year old and 1 year old there is a never a dull moment these days at the Schier house!
